Two Evicted Guests Return to Paradise

- Paradise Hotel is scheduled to conclude with it's
2 hour season finale on Oct. 1, 2003
I’m
still a bit cranky when it comes to the way Paradise
Hotel has turned out these past few episodes. I feel
exhausted and have lost my enthusiasm for the show.
However, I still can’t
help but tune in.
Kind
of a lackluster episode as there are
no eliminations. Also the spirits of the guests
are still pretty low. Keith is pretty much absent this
episode. The show has lost it’s edge and
is just fluttering around like a dead fish in the
sand.
Can
the producers pull Paradise Hotel out of the gutter
and get some life back in this show? Who knows...

Let’s
find out what antics the guests were up to in this 24th
episode. The end is near. Melanie
is happy she is back in the game, but she’s
not happy that Dave didn’t pick her (he voted for
Kavita).
Melanie and Amy are on the bed rolling around telling
each other how much they love each other. Argh...
Charla
tells Tara this is just a game to her. She harps on
about Amy and how
she’d like to watch the tapes
of the show. Charla goes on about how Zack kissed her
and everyone else.
Tom, Desiree, Beau, Melanie and Amy talk about playing
the game right.
Roommate selection.
Melanie and Beau get to choose roommates first. Beau
selects Amy. Melanie selects Keith.
Desiree
picks Tom and his monkey. Hey – how come
nobody has tortured and mutilated that monkey yet?
Holly selects Scott as a roomie. Tara selects Tom. That
means Tom must select between Tara and Desiree. But first
Charla selects Dave. Awww schucks.
Tom
must choose between Desiree and Tara. One of them will
be the “vulnerable” outsider
and not have a roomie. Tom selects Tara as roomie saying
that
Desiree in the black room will have power. Desiree stands
by Tom 100%.
Dave and Tara are happy other people have stepped up
and are playing the game.
Desiree
says it’s
good versus evil.
Dave and Charla are on the bed and seem happy. She even
touches Dave as she talks. They take it like champs.
Amy is acting stupid as Beau says he is taking up an
army. Beau says he is there to make changes and get them
gone. Charla, Dave, Keith and Tara must be split up.
The
group gathers. Desiree calls Dave retarded. He says
he doesn’t like
the word. She says shut up. She tells Dave to leave
the table. She is breaking apart.
Desiree is an idiot. Her mean spirits are surfacing.
Jungle party tonight. Costume supplies are available
to the guests. Charla wants to be a snake because everyone
thinks she is one anyways.
Cheesy costume construction time. These are the parts
of Blotel Paradizzle that I find hard to stomach. Bad
acting.
They are at the jingle party. All seem guilty of embarrassing
behavior. Of course Amy in particular acts like an idiot.
Tara and Charla seem to just endure the party.
Amy
gets an abrasion on her head when she dives in like
a dork and hits the bottom of the pool. She confronts
Charla for going to bed at midnight.
Dave tells the camera about his feelings for Charla.
He tries to cheer her up with flowers. They chat. Bonding.
The bad guys chat. Beau says his job is to get rid of
them.
Holly
and Scott argue about flirting. Holly goes off on Scott
cause she thinks
he’s upset. She acts
very childish. Scott takes it in stride. I really don’t
think their relationship has any potential. But it seems
Scott is just sticking with Holly for strategic reasons.
OK
it’s Charla and Tara montage time. They’re
barbie girls.
Scott
and Amy pick up envelopes that were delivered by the
butler dudes. They are rewarded for their curiosity
and get to select 2 guests each to go on an excursion.
A boat trip.
Amy
selects Beau and Tom. Scott selects Holly and Desiree.
It’s their chance
to bond and bitch about Dave, Charla, Tara and Keith.
Back
at the blotel Charla tells Dave that she really cares
about him and that
she will be his friend after
this. She tells Dave he is an amazing person. Dave reminds
her that Charla dissed him and previously said she wasn’t
physically attracted to him. She says then I didn’t
know you as well but now she doesn’t care. They
hug and giggle. She tells him he is such a dork.
It’s time for Pandora’s
Box...
Scott
gets asked Holly or Melanie and why. Scott answers
Holly. Strategic move.
Scott is pretty sharp. I’ve
been developing more respect for him as late.
Holly gets asked if she got jealous that Scott was spending
so much time with Melanie. Holly says no. Flashbacks
suggest otherwise.
Charla
gets asked why she deserves to be there when she spent
the entire weekend
crying. She answers by
saying she doesn’t claim she deserves to be here.
Dave gets a bitter question about talking behind peoples
backs. He says he will continue to be himself.
Amy gets asked about Tara being jealous of her. Amy
defends that and says she has accomplished more than
Tara will in her whole entire life. She is obviously
jealous as she answers.
Later
Tara and Keith are chatting to the camera and Tara
asks what has Amy accomplished– “we’re
both on a reality tv show”.
Keith
tells Tara he hates the game and that it’s
not fun anymore. Keith by the way has been pretty much
playing a low profile. He is obviously still shaken by
the mean spirited attacks of the visiting loser guests.
Keith tells Tara he does not want to win this without
her and that she may be going. Tara says “thanks
for the reassurance”. End of episode.
