Week 12, Monday 09-01-03 Hotel
Paradizzle.
Zack is back - and so are the other guests...

- Paradise Hotel is scheduled to conclude with it's
2 hour season finale on Oct. 1, 2003
This
was an OK episode but unfortunately focused too much
on the emotional strain caused by the eliminated guests
returning to haunt paradise. My fave episodes are the
ones with eliminations. As the show is nearing the
end I suspect the producers are trying to set up the
importance of the “evicted guests” and
their potential role as the jury in the final episode.
In
any event I didn’t like most of the guests they
evicted so it isn’t exactly pleasant to watch
them come back with chips on their shoulders and dish
out the disrespect.
I
will say though that the one evicted guest that has
impressed me has been Amanda. She actually looks better
than I remember her. And she isn’t as mean as
the others. OK. On to the episode.

guest just have 3 weeks to go before the finale.
We
see flashbacks.
Previously
on Paradise Hotel
The
women of Paradise hold the power to eliminate the
men.
Pampering
up the wasoo.
Keith
and Charla flirt pushing Dave to the jealous point.
Tara
made out with Alex.
At
elimination Alex and Keith were at a tie. It was a
close call and Tara chose to eliminate Alex, sparing
Keith.
Amy
got angry as usual.

Tonight’s
episode.
Cakes
adorn the table and the crew comes up to nibble on
deserts. Dave says “this is paradise”. As
if they don't have those custard filled puffs at home...
Host
Amanda joins the guys and a limo pulls up. Cheesy drum
rolls play as we see Mr.
Zack’s shoes. Size 12 I believe (Payless).
Zack is back. Oh no cry
the guests. Amy jumps up on him. Scott greets the “playa” but the others
aren’t exactly happy. But Mr. Zack will only be
visiting for 2 days.
Dave asks Zack “how is the show” and Zack
says “you guys are shady that’s for sure
and you in particular”. Dave’s smile turns
to a frown. OK, this is how it will be...
Zack says Charla, Dave,
Keith nd Tara are against everyone else. No shit Sherlock!
Duh! Looks like Zack has picked
sides, or rather is sticking with his cronies as anybody
that watches the show knows that they are all scheming.
It’s a game... or so we have been told...
Zack tells Dave that he
looks like the “ring leader”.
Zack lets Keith have it.
He drinks champagne and looks mean. Zack and Amy hug
and then go “talk”.
       
Amy and Keith discuss what
has been transpiring on the show. Zack tells Amy he
will go to L.A. for her. Aww...
the wife beater finally kisses up to Amy and pours his
heart out. Amy is such a ditz that she believes it. Then
again Zack might even believe it. They are two losers
that are meant for each other. Any idiot could look at
them as a couple and predict that they’d have a
hellish life together. Nothing but trouble. But hey – they
are meant for each other.
Charla,
Keith, Dave and Tara are chatting. Charla says that
it will be a couple of exciting days (sarcastically
of course). Charla
says he already came in hating on everyone, all bitter
and shit. Dave looks worried. Keith
too. Keith
says “we have nothing to hide”.
These guys are taking this
way too serious. Zack is nothing more than a flashback.
He is temporary. Nothing
more than a nuisance that will go away. These guys on
the other hand have made it this far and are still IN
the game. But hey – this is a TV show so some drama
must occur, right?
Zack is now telling Dave,
Tara, Scott, Tom and Desiree how shady Tara, Dave and
Charla are. He thinks he is
the big shot because he was at home WATCHING the show.
Zack’s egotistical manner is painful to all who
come in contact with it. I’m getting nauseous..
Tara tries to defend herself but big mouth bad ass Amy
is dishing shit at her. Man is that chick bitter. And
stupid too.
But hey she is gettin’ some
with Zack back in the sack. Zack spills his heart to
Amy. He cried that
night and had nightmares. Zack gives Amy a present. A
necklace. I love you Zack. Gag me.
Grainy black and white footage of the sheets fluttering
about.
The
drums begin to roll again. Amanda (the guest) has come
back. She knocks on Charla’s
door and they happily greet each other. Charla is so
happy (or so it
seems).
Amanda flashbacks. Argghhh... hard to stomach.
Dave
sees Amanda and another happy huggy scene. Next they
bring her to Keith and Tara. They seem to be a click...
Hmmm... I thought Amanda was against them earlier in
the season.
Amanda tells Keith “I love you”. Scott enters
the room. They hug. Amanda tells us she is not with Jason.
It’s not gonna work.
They
ponder what will happen with the guests visiting. Will
there be a vote to replace one of them?
Bad drum rolls again and Mr. Beau is arriving. Surprise.
Mr. Annoying is back with Kristin and they seem poised
to wreak havoc. Amy seems happy.
Beau
is a loud obnoxious air head. They mock Charla and
Tara saying they’re Barbie and Ken. OK. Not so
bright dude. Not very funny. But I’m sure the producers
like it.
Odd
thing is about the evicted guests revisiting is that
are all so extremely cocky. Like they feel some kind
of power being able to come back and visit the winning
guests. They enjoy the fact that the producers have encouraged
them to be ass holes. They like being mean and it shows.
Also
odd is that Tom and Desiree are for the most part hiding
in the background.
We hardly see them. Mostly
the focus is on Charla, Dave, Keith and Tara and how
they are coping with the return of the idiots. Well,
I can only hope that this shit does not last longer than
two episodes and we can get back to the game instead
of reliving the past with bad grainy black and white
flashbacks of the “worst moments” at Hotel
Paradizzle.
Amy
is gloating. She thinks this is fun and “the
way it should be”. Odd considering she almost left
voluntarily when Kristen got eliminated.
Now
it’s Beau’s
chance to be in the spotlight and act like an ass hole.
He says “you’ve
never seen this Beau before” and smiles crazily
saying “the annoying one’ is back” (did
he read some of my recaps???) He is gloating like he
enjoys being able to be a dick and get paid for it. His
true colors are showing. Beau you are annoying and a
dick to boot. You give Zack a run for the money as to
being the most annoying blotel guest.
Host Amanda returns. She reminds the evicted guests
that their time here is limited and that they should
use it wisely.
Zack and Keith get in an
argument and Zack says “in
the real world you’d run your mouth like that and
I’d smack it off”. Woo hoo you are one mean
and smart guy Mr. Zack. Did you just make that up yourself?
I’m sure Keith is trembling in fear.
The
turmoil continues. Charla, Tara and Keith are worried.
They are talking it out trying to get
a handle on things.
Keith asks if they think Toni will come back.... Desiree is courting the
evicted guests and tells them that she would rather
see herself win than one of them...
What an opportunist. She is planting the seed in her
favor. Can’t fault her though. This is a game.
       
Keith tells Charla and Tara
there is only so much he can take. Charla says “I’m leaving” and
walks away. We see her next on the floor next to the
toilet with Tara consoling her.
Kristin and Amy are by the pool and they are dishing
out disrespect. These are the two most bitter babes of
paradise. They believe their own B.S.
Amanda joins Tara and Charla in the john. Charla is
crying. She wants to leave. She says she has lost her
mind.
Next we see Dave and Beau.
Beau tries to make Dave feel used by Charla. He tells
Dave that he would be more than
happy to be on his side. Sure – I believe you Beau.
Keith tries to reassure
Dave that Charla wouldn’t
be saying those things. Dave isn’t so sure.
As
Tara consoles Charla and caresses her hair she has
an epiphany and says
that Charla is still here – the
others have been voted off. Hooray! You get it girl!
Right on. That’s the way to think.
Beau and Amy have a pillow fight. How lame.
Dave joins the crew in the
bathroom with Charla. Charla asks Dave if he’d
be mad lf she left. He says he’d
be mad if she left without talking to him. He tries his
best to convince her to stay. She blows him off. She
says Dave is high maintenance.
Zack approaches Dave and
says he didn’t come there
to f*ck his life up but tells him he needs to know what’s
going on. Yeah, right Zack – you’re the good
guy now... He goes on to say he will ruin Keith’s
life for the two days that he is here. No, really? You
are such a stud Zack. Is there anybody that likes Zack?
I’m curious.
Dave
talks to Amy alone and tries to get her to feel for
Charla but instead Amy goes off on Charla. Her mean
streak comes out and she starts talking shit. Dave is
unsuccessful and Amy says she wants Tara and Charla out.
Bring it on she says. Not exactly a good strategic move
girl. But hey - you tell it like it is and you can't
fault us for hating you because of it.
Dave
and Tara are restless. Keith says “get
ready for something huge to happen”. Drums roll again and Melanie has arrived. Remember her?
Not really. She was kinda lame. Amy seems happy she is
back. Scott too.
More
drum rolls. Another limo (or rather the same limo).
Andon arrives. Scott greets him. Flashbacks.
Andon says “I’m back and ready to take the
gloves off and see what’s up”. You are so
macho dude. He joins the bad group of evicted originals
to hoots and hollers. Amy says this is awesome. She is
on some mean adrenalin high and so is Beau who is jumping
on the bed and yelling maniacally. Weak.
Amanda is talking to Keith
and Holly and says “I
didn’t think it would be this bad. They’re
ganging up on you guys”. She says it’s all
on Amy and Zack.
Andon is with the bad guys
and is talking trash about Charla. Says he’d
seen enough. Bad flashbacks of him and Charla kissing.
She’s a bad actress he
says. Zack is popping pimples on his chest as Andon talks
his trash. Look out for the mayo. As Andon is saying “Dave
is a liar big time” Dave happens to be walking
up to them.
Dave
tries to be nice but Andon is dissing him about still
being so white. Dave
barely gets a word in edge
wise as Andom puts him down. Dave finally catches on
and asks if Andon is trying to put him down. Andon worms
on and says “no I just feel like that maybe you’re
not being too truthfull all the time”. Hey those
are pretty big words for you Andon. Where’d you
learn to talk – in a barnyard? Dave isn’t
happy and says everyone there knows how truthful Dave
is. Everyone
is is silent watching as Dave defends himself. I know
they all hoped that Andon would kick his ass. Those of
us at home are secretly hoping that Dave would kick Andon’s
ass. Dave calls Andon on pointing at him and says “I
don’t point at people” Andon replies “I
do when I don't like people”. Dave storms off,
but not quick enough to let Zack taunt him about getting
Charla out to deal with the pressure. Thanks Zack. You
contributed as well. Andon picks up on it and tries to
get Dave to see the light about Charla. Dave is offended
for being singled out and attacked. After all he is an
individual (so he said).
Well that’s drama in paradise. Andon is playing
his part just like the producers wanted, but hey – you
know this guy IS an asswipe in real life as well. Dick!
And what is that shit crawling up his arms. It is the
worst tattoo I have ever seen. Looks like a vine is growing
on him. Geezus! Get a clue dude you are weak!
Dave tells the camera how
sad and angry he is. He says “it
couldn’t get any worse than this”... but
wait – is that a drum roll that I hear??? It is...
And a limo is pulling up... and yes – that’s
bug eyed Toni. Just when you think it couldn’t
get any more unbearable.. there comes Toni... and Alex....
but the episode is now over and we’ll just have
to wait for the next one to continue all the bad karma...
I can only hope that these evicted guests will move out
of the way and let the show continue on.
